Tippapalooza

We are thrilled to announce our entertainment lineup for Tippapalooza 2018. The bands this year are all veterans of the Miami Valley live music scene and are sure to make this the best Tippapalooza ever! Our evening will start with The 1984 Draft, Neo American Pioneers, and Seth Canan & The Carriers. Our headline act are Dayton music legends Shrug!

Tippapalooza is the annual music festival featuring local talent, and benefitting the Tipp community. Tippapalooza 2018 will be held on Saturday, September 1st, from 5-11 PM at Tipp City Eagles' Park, 3853 Hyattsville Road, Tipp City, across from Tippecanoe High School.

2018 marks the seventh annual Tippapalooza music festival that is known for providing the area with a great night of entertainment and for benefitting the Tipp community. Tippapalooza was created by a group of friends and musicians with the desire to play music, promote local talent, and benefit local charities. This led to the idea of a music festival and Tippapalooza was born. The event is produced by volunteers and the proceeds from this event will be returned to the community through a donation to the Tipp Pride Association and their efforts to fund a new community stadium.

Tippappalooza is happy to name The Tipp Pride Association as our benficiary. The Tipp Pride Association has taken up the challenge of raising the funds to build a new stadium to replace the out of date, unsafe structure that has served the school and community for over 70 years. Their goal is to raise $5.6 million through stadium naming rights, sponsorships, donations, and fundraising events - like Tippapalooza. Besides adding value and pride to the Tipp community, a new stadium means safer playing surface for athletes, safer facilities for guests and patrons, and opportunities to host a wider variety of community, athletic, and school events.

Tippapalooza is a family-friendly event, the venue features a playground, basketball and sand volleyball courts, and plenty of space for kids to run around. Sample some of the delicious dishes from the onsite food trucks and our exclusive beer vendor Warped Wing. Admission is $5 and parking is free, so come out and spend the evening with us on Saturday of Labor Day weekend.
